BEAUTY HAUL

Hello! Hope you all have been having a great weekend and ready for what this week brings, I've spent my weekend working on a mammoth of a blog post for my arty blog but I've taken some time out to tell you about some of the things I have bought over the last two weeks. I lost some of my make-up brushes a few weeks ago when I was staying at a hotel - I say lost.. I mean left like a fool! but anyway this gave me the perfect excuse to treat myself to some grown up makeup brushes which then lead me to going on a beauty shopping spree. I'll link everything at the bottom of this post if you're interested in buying any of them.

EYEBROWS.
I'll start with Soap & Glory's Brow Archery Tint & Precision Shaping Pencil which I have bought in the shade Love Is Blonde. I feel like I went to war looking for this, the Soap & Glory section in my town's Boots is a MESS! Everything had been opened as there was no testers and there was hardly anything left (shame on you Boots - Banbury Castle Quay shopping centre). Moving on, I have used this product before and I really love it, though I normally go for Brownie Points. I was unsure on the colour of Brownie Points but was going to pick it up anyway - surprise surprise they didn't have it (looking at you Boots) so I picked up Love Is Blonde hoping that it would be okay. I have tried it and I'm unsure, they colour is a little too light to match my eyebrows but I feel like it looks better on me then Brownie Points.
Now to tell you the truth the only reason I picked up Rimmel London's Professional Eyebrow Pencil was for the little brush on the lid and for £2.99 how can you blame me? I haven't tried this pencil before so I will give it a go but I'm not too sure on the colour, I picked up the one I think best matches my eyebrows (002 Hazel) but I think it might be a little too brown.
FACE.
I bought these because I had lost a few of my brushes and I only had one that wasn't ones I've had from being an older teen. I really love the look of Real Techniques brushes and I think they are a lovely colour. I'm very impressed with the shading and concealer brush, I feel like you have a lot of control over where you are placing product and the shading brush blends very well. I'm not sure on the Expert Face Brush, I think maybe I'm not using it right? I've been using it to apply powder and it doesn't bled it well around my face.
SHOWER.
I have actually picked up both the shampoo and the conditioner and WOW do these smell amazing, like banana sweets!
I have used both of these and very happy with them, though I do love the conditioner more. My hair feels very soft and bouncy after washing with them which is great for me as I have curly hair and it often feels dry and weighed down after washing, (these both are for all hair types). I only have two very tiny problems with them which are the size of them and when washing with the shampoo my hair feels a little elasticity - keep in mind that my hair does not feel like this after washing. I don't wash my hair that often as it doesn't need to be washed so I think they will last me awhile but for people who wash their hair daily will run out very quickly. These products are both NOT tested on animals and support the fair trade community, they are also both made in the UK.
Keeping with the Body Shop theme I also picked up this. Again I'm disappointed with the size of the bottle but I love the packaging! I think it looks very sleek and pretty. Like the banana shampoo and conditioner it smells great, like Turkish delights! I feel like this would be a treat kind of product, something you would use if you've had a bad day or if you want to feel extra lovely due to the size. There is no information about testing on animals or fair trade on this product but it does say it is made in the UK.
FRAGRANCE.
Again with The Body Shop - I'm sorry, I promise this is the last one but it is the prettiest! I really wanted a perfume that I really liked and didn't make me feel like I was going to choke (jokes aside, I have asthma and a lot of perfumes are too overpowering for me). I tried a few in the shops and I was impressed with the strength of them as they were not overpowering but I didn't love any of them smells. I liked this one the most out of the lot and I was VERY drawn to the packaging (i'm a sucker for pretty packaging). Trying this at home smelled very different to when I tried it in the shop and it smelled so much nicer! I love it! There is nothing about testing on animals or fair trade on the back of this product, it is made in France.
