A Sort of Life Update: March
Recently I've not been feeling great, I've been feeling uninspired and unmotivated within my work and myself. I have two blog post lined up that I don't think I'll even post because I feel like a copycat. I'd like to be original and not write about things that I feel like I should be. An empties post, products I regret buying post, a favourites post, all these post I plan to write but how many of those do we need in the blogging industry?
My not feeling great might be due to life coming to a halt, because of catching the flu that lingered about for three weeks. Not just my life but blogging also has come to a halt because of feeling unoriginal. So to get the swing of things again I've deiced to review my list of 23 Things I Want to Do Before I'm 23.
1. Learn how to drive
2. Gain a diploma in digital marketing
3. Get another piecing - I got another one! On my ear.
4. Publish that chapbook already!
5. Get highlights done by a professional
6. Go camping in the summer time
7. Binge watch Friends - I have been, I'm on season 6!
8. Lose weight you wanted to lose when you were 16... - This is in progress, I start at a new gym tomorrow!
9. Make up with that friend (if they want the same) - I tried, they didn't want the same.
10. Save some money
11. Read four books - I have actually done this which I cant really believe (I'll probably make a blog post about this).
12. Plan something special for your brother
13. Donate the blanket you are knitting for charity
14. Buy a Naked palette - If I lose the weight I shall get this for myself
15. Get your hygiene certificate
16. Make a cool af gingerbread house for Christmas - Kinda missed Christmas but might make one non Christmas themed.
17. Go to a gig/talk/show of someone you really admire - I'm seeing Dan & Phil in May!
18. Go crazy in a Victorian style sweetshop
19. Visit your sister's new place
20. Make a new friend or connect with an old one
21. Do yoga or meditation at least once a week
22. See a movie you want to see on your own
23. Learn how to use your Polaroid camera
So I've done three things on my list already and I'm in the processes of crossing off some others. I think I'd like to tackle finishing my chapbook. I'd like to do a favourites and I was going to add some at the end of this post as I actually want to write about the things I've been loving, but I feel this post is rather lengthy so I'll add some photos I've been posting on social media during March and write a new post for my favourite things (anyone else just sang These Are A Few Of My Favourite Things in their heads?) .
Thanks for reading and I do hope this post hasn't been too moany and boring.
