Someday Summary | Saturday April 7th



I had a very chilled yet productive day today. I started my day with a lye-in, a bowl of chocolate hoops and watching Friends on my ipad, I did this until my sister came to visit us. In the late afternoon I had a nap (I know, such a hard life). After my nap I did some knitting and painted my nails. My nails are now chipped! I don't know why I bother sometimes - does anyone else have this problem, that when you paint your nails the very same day they chip!?

I spent my evening baking. It's my dads Birthday on Monday and every year for his Birthday I make him a cake, and this year is no exception. I thought I'd jump the gun and make my sponge while I had some free time, also cake always tastes better the next day - if not the day after that. The sky also decided to go a beautiful pink as the sun went down, summer is defiantly on the way and I for one can not wait!

By the time I had finished baking I had the house to myself which I decided to take advantage of by cleaning (I don't know why but I can only clean when no one else is in the house). I also did a load of washing, edited my photographs for this post and wrote this very post you are reading! I'm so much more productive in the night (it's 1.10am at the moment), I'm very much a night owl.
