Happy 2nd Birthday Victoria Anne!
I've always been one for blogs. I remember starting my first ever blog when I was 15 back in 2011. I was inspired by Zoella and Sprinkle of Glitter as I adored their blogs. I loved their style and what they shared about their life. I saw what opportunities it brought to them and I thought to myself that I wouldn't mind a slice of that cake ( ha! cake! ). So I started my first blog... and then I started several after that.
I couldn't keep up with having a blog, I lost interest, I felt I wasn't good enough and I couldn't find the time to do it when I started college. I was busy with starting up a new life for myself. Fast forward a few years and I started up an artist blog for university. I documented my art work and days to art galleries in London but I began to get a little bored. My whole life was about art and I missed talking about other things in my life like baking and lifestyle. So I started this blog, with the main goal to document my life I planned out to create monthly posts.
I got the idea of one of my closest friends Luke (hello Luke if you're reading.... you better be reading). Luke used a blogging site like a dairy, he didn't share this blog, to him it was his own personal space.. that he let me read from time to time.

Something about documenting really sparks something in me. I love remembering little dates like when I first met someone, when I went to see one of my favourite movies, a first kiss. I even keep the little physical objects from the day like train tickets or receipts. I like having physical things to remember days, it's like having little pieces of evidence that that day actually happened.
So remembering back I started this blog when I was 20 with the main goal of talking about my life. I'll be honest, I was most certain that I wouldn't continue with this blog. I thought I would just push it to one side and forget it was ever there like I had done with all my other blogs. I know I haven't been a great blogger, I kinda just write when the mood takes but I've fallen in love with it this year and I finally feel like I've found my voice on here. I love my little space here and I love what it has become. I don't get regular readers or hundreds of views, which are well and truly welcome but I don't really care. This blog is for me, it's my little journey and anyone who wants to is welcome to come along, but either way, I'm happy going solo. Thanks for reading, I hope you're having a great day wherever you are.
