Some Day Summary 06/09 | The Great British Bake Off Week Two

It was cake week on The Great British Bake Off this week so I deiced to bake a cake (it's bread week next week and I've never made bread before so Lord help me!). This was a bit of a simple one, just a plain chocolate sponge with vanilla butter cream.

I'm sure it wasn't just me who was very surprised about Luke leaving Bake Off this week. I thought he was roughly in the middle and was safe for another week but apparently not! I was so sure that Karen was going to be leaving the tent this week as she didn't do very well for any of the challenges. Either way I'd be sad to see any of them go.

Compared to last week I've been feeling a lot better and have been offered a job as a product designer! I'm absolutely frilled! A good friend of mine even surprised me with a bottle of prosecco to celebrate the new job. She's been so amazing to me. She has been helping me get into shape, been there when I needed to vent and celebrated with me. I'm a very lucky lady.
