Products I Regret Buying

I don't like speaking badly of products, as I don't like spreading negativity and live in fear that this will be seen as a chance to speak negatively just out of spitefulness. I do hope you'll agree with me that not everything you buy is going to be great or what you had expected. I have a few things that have disappointed me and wanted to share that with you. These products did not work for me but may work for you, so don't give them a miss just on my judgement x


This product was really disappointing. When you apply it, it is a white cream, kind of like sun-cream. It calms to ''magically transform to suit your skin tone'' so I was expecting this to be some sort of magical all knowing, all thinking BB Cream.  As you rub it in it starts to turn colour.. to orange. Now I won't kid you, I didn't think this was going to turn the perfect colour to match my skin tone but I wasn't expecting to look like an Umpa-Lumpa either. In Body Shops defence I have very fair skin, so applying this onto tanned skin you may have more luck. I thought it would be a bit like Benifits Pore Fessional primer, a thin, smooth, tinned gel/cream. I always love The Body Shops products so I'm super surprised that I actually really dislike this product. 



Another Body Shop product (*sigh*). I really wanted to like this product. It comes in this sweet little glass jar (which I will be keeping and using for something else) and smells strong and fresh of Matcha Tea. It has little grains in it to exfoliate, it's thick and creamy - lovely to apply. The shop assistant also told me how much his girlfriend loved this product so, I thought I'd indulge myself. As soon as I applied it to my face my skin started to become uncomfortable, sting and burn. This is so disappointing as it cost about £17. Had it been around £8 it wouldn't of been so disappointing. Also comes in a really nice box - not really necessarily though.


One not from the body shop. I don't know why but this product just doesn't work for me. It claims to take out all the horrible gunk and dirt that can build up in your pores. Everyone says how great this product is and how satisfying it is. I follow the instructions but it just doesn't work, it doesn't pull anything out from my pores. I would say my pores are okay, they're not super clear (whos are?! tell me your secrets) but I wouldn't say they are in dying need of a clean out. I've even tried using them after a shower to help open my pores with stream but that still doesn't seem to help. I'm not quiet sure If I am doing something wrong or that it's just not that great of a product. I've even tried cutting it into smaller pieces to fit my nose better but that still hasn't worked. If anyone else is having trouble let me know so, I know I'm not alone.
