Start As You Mean To Go On



I think we all can agree that trying to write everyday about my day in a weekly post as been a bit of a flop. My days have become busy with swimming, work, design training, artwork and general exciting every day chores (yay....). Blogging gets put on my back-burner and because I dont have a direct direction for this blog it makes writing hard. I shy away from writing as I fear of becoming a manufactured copycat.

I must admit while I find it hard to write about my day weekly, I've enjoyed writing someday summaries. I enjoy catching little snippets of things that made me happy during my day.

Someone told me over the weekend ''start as you mean to go on''. I started this blog this year with a list of things I want to do before I turn 24 and my birthday was about two months ago... Looking over the list I've noticed I have done and working my way though a few things on that list.
1. One of the things is to lose weight, two stone to be exact. Most nights I have been swimming and most days calorie count. Since I last weighed myself which was in November I have lost 8 pounds! 8 fricking pounds!
2. Over Christmas I learnt how to use my Polariod camera, it was actually a lot easier than I thought it was going to be and I love the photos I have taken with it.
3. I gave up dating apps.. but I didn't stay off them for that long... I've only gone back to one app and I've been a lot more picky about people who I swipe right on. I've only been on one date since going back on that app and they seem to be very mature. We have planed a second date.
4. I bought myself a dairy - I'm not brilliant keeping up with it but it has helped to keep my mind a little less busy with whats happening day to day, and I've not forgotten any plans or meetings......yet.
